Shipping Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Shipping Coordinator to join a leading wholesaler that supplies major UK high‑street and European brands. The role combines administration, logistics and customer service to ensure smooth shipment processing from factories to end‑customers.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with factories and freight forwarders in the Far East and with customers and logistics partners in the UK.
• Manage shipment consolidation, create shipping documents and maintain the supply system (orders, products, assemblies, shipments, invoices).
• Administer customer systems to ensure accurate bookings and deliveries.
• Submit order and shipment invoices to customer accounts and monitor payment schedules.
• Maintain meticulous records of customers, suppliers and purchasing files.
• Communicate daily with forwarders, factories, logistics teams and internal departments.
• Assist finance with processing supplier invoices and matching them to purchase orders.
• Perform general administrative tasks and support other areas as needed.

• Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self‑managed, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
