Show Technician - Technical Services

About the role

We are looking for a Show Technician to join the Technical Services team at the Warner Bros. Studio Tour – The Making of Harry Potter. The role is a twelve‑month fixed‑term position responsible for the day‑to‑day technical operation of show systems, lighting and sound, while delivering a high level of customer service to visitors and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, maintain, troubleshoot and control lighting, sound, video, show‑control and integrated systems to ensure a consistent visitor experience.
• Carry out all technical and exhibition‑related maintenance tasks according to agreed schedules and standards.
• Support the delivery of live events as required.
• Maintain public and staff safety at all times and protect assets and equipment throughout the tour areas.
• Comply with internal health‑and‑safety regulations and working practices.
• Communicate effectively with Visitor Experience, Studio Facilities and Corporate Archive departments.
• Participate in technical project teams for themed feature development, installation and maintenance projects.
• Contribute to the day‑to‑day running of the attraction, covering weekends, evenings and school holidays on a shift pattern (363 days a year).

Required profile

• Proven track record in a similar maintenance role, preferably within the entertainment, visitor‑attraction or service industry.
