Showroom Consultant – Premium Interiors Retail

About the role

We are looking for a Showroom Consultant to be the welcoming face of our flagship premium interiors showroom in Clerkenwell. You will act as a trusted advisor to architects, interior designers, contractors and homeowners, helping them translate design concepts into reality while generating new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage visitors, creating an inspiring showroom experience.
• Understand client requirements and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Provide expert product knowledge and technical guidance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, contractors and commercial clients.
• Identify and develop new sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up enquiries promptly.
• Ensure showroom displays, sample library and stock levels are presented to the highest standard.
• Support showroom events, product launches and networking activities.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and business development teams to improve the customer journey.

Required profile

• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience in a showroom, interiors, luxury retail or specification sales environment.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Consultative sales approach with a commercial mindset.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced setting.
• Proactive, positive attitude and desire to exceed expectations.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary up to £36,750 per year.
• Quarterly profit‑related bonus and uncapped commission.
• Monday‑Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm schedule.
