Show/Set Designer – Creative Design Team

About the role

The Show/Set Designer will join NBCUniversal’s Creative Design team to develop and document scenic and show elements for world‑class attractions. Using architectural and CAD tools, you will translate creative concepts into detailed design packages that integrate ride, show, and facility components.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and iterate ride and show set elements, producing virtual and physical models, renders, plans, sections and detailed drawing packages.
• Collaborate with Senior Show Set Designer, Production Designer, Art Director and Creative Director to ensure seamless integration of show, equipment and facility elements.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations and architectural teams to align design intent with project program and budget.
• Utilise 3D modeling and drafting software to create dimensional, scale drawings that communicate design intent.

Required profile

• Proven experience in set or attraction design within a media, entertainment or theme‑park environment.
• Strong visualisation skills and ability to produce high‑quality renderings and documentation.
• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities to work across multidisciplinary teams.
