Shunter/Cleaner – Night Shift (6pm‑1am)

About the role

This position combines bus shunting and high‑standard cleaning duties on a night shift at a depot in St Helens. You will work five days a week, covering the 6 pm‑1 am window, and be paid £12.71 per hour.

Key responsibilities

• Drive buses safely from the parking bay to the cleaning bay.
• Clean buses and other vehicles to a high standard, including interior and exterior surfaces.
• Mop, sweep, and clean handrails and other high‑touch points throughout the depot.
• Maintain the general depot area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Refuel buses and perform oil checks as required.
• Follow all health and safety regulations and depot procedures.

Required profile

• No previous experience is required; training will be provided.
• A full UK driving licence is mandatory.
• Ability to work night hours (6 pm‑1 am) on a flexible five‑day schedule.
