Site Agent – North Devon

About the role

The Site Agent will lead the delivery of civil engineering projects across North Devon, overseeing every phase from mobilisation to hand‑over. You will ensure that works are carried out safely, on schedule and within the agreed budget while maintaining high standards of quality and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations for multiple civil engineering schemes.
• Lead and motivate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to achieve project targets.
• Monitor programme performance, resource allocation and cost control.
• Enforce health, safety, quality and environmental standards on site.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and the wider project team.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Site Agent or Sub‑Agent ready to step up.
• Solid background delivering water, highways, utilities or heavy civil projects.
• Good knowledge of NEC contracts.
• SMSTS, CSCS and First‑Aid certifications.
• Full UK driving licence.
