Site Contracts Associate – Clinical Research

About the role

IQVIA Biotech partners exclusively with biotech and emerging biopharma companies to support clinical development across all phases and therapeutic areas. It is looking for an experienced Site Contracts Associate to manage contract strategy for selected sponsors, supporting complex studies and multi-protocol programs with high-quality delivery and operational excellence. The position is hybrid, based in Reading or Paddington.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate clinical trial contracts with research sites so they are completed on time and meet quality and compliance requirements.
• Manage contract changes and additional agreements while balancing business needs and regulatory requirements.
• Support contract planning and study start-up activities for assigned sponsors, studies and programs.
• Help develop investigator grants, site budgets, contracting plans and proposal documents.
• Prepare and negotiate contract terms, payment schedules and budget templates according to project and sponsor needs.
• Work with sponsors, stakeholders and regional study start-up teams to meet project goals and timelines.
• Provide contract-related guidance and support to study teams on operational and financial matters.
• Gather and share contract and market information to support study planning and decision-making.
• Monitor contract activities to ensure timelines, milestones and financial goals are met.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 3-5 years of experience in clinical research contract management or a similar role.
• Familiarity with clinical trial processes, regulatory requirements and contract lifecycle management.
• Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
