Site Development Program Manager

About the role

Meta is looking for an experienced and organized Program Manager to join its Data Center Site Development team. You will help drive the expansion of Meta’s owned data center portfolio by overseeing site entitlement, risk assessment, and delivery processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the entitlements process, including zoning and land‑use permitting, to meet project timelines.
• Conduct diligence on prospective sites, evaluating permitting, tax incentives, energy, water, connectivity, natural hazards, and financial implications.
• Coordinate communications and track progress across internal and external stakeholders such as capacity planning, design, construction, legal, tax, policy, and finance teams.
• Collaborate with the Site Selection Manager to align stakeholders and resolve development obstacles.
• Prepare project recommendations for management approval and support long‑term data‑center location strategy.
• Oversee a portfolio of sites under construction or operation to ensure on‑time, quality delivery and compliance with permits.
• Track ongoing site development, manage agreements, and develop scalable tools and processes for improved delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, planning, environmental management, science, or a technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of project management or site development experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with internal staff, consultants, and vendors.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally up to 50 % of the time.
