Site Labourer – Mechanical Installation Projects

About the role

Finlay Jude Associates Limited is seeking experienced Site Labourers to support mechanical installation projects for a client in the Rossendale area. You will work on a variety of industrial sites, assisting the Installation Supervisor with equipment assembly and site preparation.

Key responsibilities

• Follow instructions from the Installation Supervisor and adhere to company standards.
• Assist with installation and assembly of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Measure and mark dimensions accurately using a tape measure.
• Select and safely use appropriate hand and power tools for each task.
• Maintain housekeeping standards inside tanks, vessels and confined spaces.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, checking deliveries for discrepancies.
• Report health, safety, environmental or quality issues promptly.
• Comply with all RAMS, site rules, lift plans and PPE requirements.

Required profile

• Possession of a Green CSCS Card (minimum requirement).
• Previous experience on construction, industrial or mechanical installation sites.
• Ability to work safely in wastewater treatment and effluent facilities.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the UK, Ireland and Europe, including extended periods away from home.

Required skills

• Accurate tape measurement and dimension marking.
• Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools, and safe usage.
• Mechanical installation techniques.
• Green CSCS Card certification.
