Site Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Network Plus is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead operational teams on the ENW Excavate and Lay contract in the North West. You will oversee the site from hand‑over through to completion, ensuring safety, programme delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise delivery teams during excavation, backfill, reinstatement and site completion.
• Disseminate Construction Phase Plans, RAMS and CDM requirements to site personnel.
• Manage street‑works permits, traffic management and NRSWA compliance.
• Record daily work measures and submit for weekly payments.
• Conduct toolbox talks and maintain safety records.
• Liaise with traffic management and local authorities to minimise disruption.
• Provide innovative solutions and promote a BE:SAFE safety culture.

Required profile

• Relevant construction qualifications such as SHEA (Power), NRSWA 1991 Supervisor, EFAW.
• IOSH or SMSTS certification preferred.
• Experience with trench support or deep excavation preferred.
• Proven ability to manage site teams and meet client/operational requirements.
