Site Manager – DNO/Substation (Cambridge)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead on‑site activities for DNO and substation projects across the UK. Based in Cambridge, you will work autonomously, overseeing high‑voltage electrical installations and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations on multiple substation and high‑voltage sites.
• Supervise wiring works, monitor progress and quality, and produce accurate reports.
• Liaise with senior management and client representatives to communicate project status.
• Coordinate with contractors and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Travel to stay‑away sites as required, maintaining a full UK driving licence.

Required profile

• Proven background in DNO environments, substations or high‑voltage electrical projects.
• Ability to work independently and make decisions on site.
• Full UK driving licence.
