Site Manager – Electrical Works for Data Centre

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead mission‑critical electrical works on a new data centre in Dagenham. You will be responsible for delivering high‑voltage and low‑voltage installations, ensuring safety, quality and compliance with UK regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all on‑site electrical works including HV/LV, switchgear, UPS, generators, busbar and containment systems.
• Supervise electrical subcontractors and internal site teams.
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to keep them informed of progress.
• Review electrical drawings, RAMS and method statements.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and energisation activities.
• Monitor progress against programme and report to the Project Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Electrical Site Manager on data‑centre or mission‑critical projects.
• Strong knowledge of UPS systems, HV/LV systems and critical power infrastructure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and maintain site safety.
• Capability to read and interpret electrical drawings and single‑line diagrams.
