Site Manager - External

About the role

Connolly Ltd is seeking experienced Site Managers with a background in social housing to lead external refurbishment projects. The role involves overseeing window and door replacements, external works, and decarbonisation schemes across North Wales, West Yorkshire and the Northwest.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure adherence to plans, specifications and programme of works.
• Prepare progress reports, monitor programmes and sign off quality control documents.
• Manage delegated budgets and collaborate with the Quantity Surveyor to optimise profitability.
• Coordinate team members, set work objectives and allocate tasks.
• Oversee inductions, material and equipment provision, and site environment standards.
• Maintain quality of all work performed by staff or contractors.

Required profile

• Proven track record of site management.
• Experience delivering social housing projects from start to finish.
• Valid SMSTS qualification.
• Current First Aid at Work certification.
• Asbestos Awareness (desirable).
