Site Manager

About the role

The Site Manager will oversee the delivery of a designated site or block, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety standards. You will lead foremen and subcontractors, coordinate with commercial, design, quality and health & safety teams, and provide regular progress reports to the Project Manager.

Key responsibilities

• Create, manage and monitor project plans and associated budgets for the assigned site.
• Lead foremen and on‑site subcontractors, motivating and appraising performance.
• Work closely with Commercial, Design & Quality, and Health & Safety departments to ensure compliance.
• Ensure all works meet safety standards, RAM requirements, construction drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and issue weekly and monthly client reports.
• Coordinate labour and material requirements, monitor resource usage and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain relationships with key client staff, stakeholders and third‑party funders.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction sites or blocks.
• Ability to manage foremen, subcontractors and site workforce.
• Strong liaison skills with commercial, health & safety and other internal teams.
• Experience preparing regular site progress reports.
• Understanding of budget and programme control.
