Site Manager

About the role

Premier Work Support is seeking a proactive, hands‑on Site Manager to take full responsibility for its Medway manufacturing facility in Kent. The role offers full specialist training and a clear pathway towards regional management within a market‑leading company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead safe and efficient day‑to‑day operations of the site.
• Manage and develop day and night shift teams to meet production targets.
• Oversee production planning, quality control and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate maintenance activities to minimise downtime.
• Handle stock control, customer orders and site administration.
• Organise logistics, deliveries and customer service.
• Provide visible, hands‑on leadership across all operational areas, including supporting FLT operations when required.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years supervisory or management experience in manufacturing, warehouse, industrial or engineering environments.
• Strong leadership and operational management abilities.
• Experience managing production performance and schedules.
• UK FLT Counterbalance licence B1/B2.
• Excellent communication, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• Proactive, hands‑on approach.
