Site Manager

About the role

Prospero Teaching is looking for a proactive Site Manager to run the day‑to‑day operations of a busy primary school in Enfield. You will ensure the premises are safe, secure and well‑maintained for pupils, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out opening and closing procedures and maintain site security.
• Perform routine maintenance, minor repairs and oversee building upkeep.
• Conduct health and safety checks and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage external contractors, cleaning staff and other service providers.
• Maintain school grounds, outdoor areas and support community lettings.
• Assist with school events and coordinate any additional site‑related activities.

Required profile

• Previous experience in site management, caretaking or facilities management.
• Strong practical maintenance abilities.
• Good knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and juggle multiple priorities.
• Enhanced DBS check will be required.
