Site Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead remediation and enabling works projects across the UK. You will be the primary on‑site contact, ensuring safe, timely and high‑quality delivery while working closely with clients and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site teams and subcontractors on multiple projects.
• Manage remediation, enabling works and groundworks activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule and within scope.
• Maintain compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.
• Oversee site documentation, reporting and project records.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and internal project teams.
• Monitor progress and resolve operational challenges.
• Promote a positive safety culture and efficient use of labour, plant and resources.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Site Manager in remediation, groundworks, civil engineering or related sectors.
• Strong leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Excellent understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance.
• Proven experience handling project documentation and reporting.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• SMSTS qualification and CSCS card.
• Willingness to travel across UK project locations.
