Site Manager – Leisure & Commercial Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations on flagship leisure, commercial and hospitality developments in the Tonbridge area. You will work closely with senior operational leaders, ensuring high standards of safety, quality and client satisfaction while benefiting from a clear pathway into senior site and project management roles.

Key responsibilities

• Manage trade contractors, sub‑contractors and direct labour on site.
• Enforce Tier 1 health & safety, quality control and logistics standards.
• Represent the contractor during site walk‑throughs with clients, public bodies and local authorities.
• Maintain short‑term look‑ahead programmes to keep the project on schedule.
• Deliver daily site inductions, RAMS reviews and safety briefings.

Required profile

• Proven site management experience on leisure, hospitality or commercial projects.
• Strong knowledge of Tier 1 processes and high‑standard site setups.
• Confident, client‑facing communication style for public‑sector stakeholder interaction.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK.

Required skills

• SMSTS certification.
• CSCS Managerial Card.
• First Aid at Work (Fire Warden or Scaffold Inspection desirable).
