Site Manager – Marine Civils & Port Infrastructure

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead a major marine civil engineering and port infrastructure programme at a regional maritime facility. The role involves overseeing complex demolition, reinstatement and foundation works while maintaining safe operations within a live port environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day‑to‑day site operations, managing engineers, foremen and subcontractor trade gangs.
- Drive delivery across demolition, temporary works, foundation installations and surface reinstatements.
- Promote a proactive health and safety culture and ensure compliance with site‑specific risk assessments.
- Plan short‑term look‑aheads, resource allocation and monitor progress against the contract schedule.
Required profile
- Proven track record as a Site Manager delivering heavy civil engineering, structural demolition or marine/port infrastructure projects.
- Strong experience managing subcontractors, direct labour and site engineering teams.
Required skills
- Controlled demolition of superstructures and basement infill.
- Construction of reinforced concrete foundations for passenger boarding bridges.
