Site Manager - Passive Fire Protection

About the role

We are partnering with a leading specialist manufacturer and contractor in passive fire protection to find a Site Manager who will oversee fire‑stopping, fire‑door and compartmentation projects across residential, healthcare, education and commercial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage multiple passive fire protection projects from inception to handover, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget and to specification.
• Supervise daily site activities, direct labour teams and subcontractors, maintaining high standards of safety, quality and performance.
• Oversee installation, inspection and maintenance of fire doors, fire stopping, compartmentation and containment works.
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular quality/safety checks.
• Maintain accurate site records, progress reports and photographic evidence using digital tools.
• Liaise with clients, residents and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery in live social‑housing environments.
• Monitor budgets, costs and project profitability, acting as the primary contact for clients, suppliers and stakeholders.
• Implement quality assurance processes, including Property Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing fire‑protection projects on construction sites.
• Strong commercial awareness with the ability to track budgets and profitability.
• Excellent knowledge of fire safety regulations and relevant British Standards.
• Ability to lead teams, coordinate subcontractors and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
