Site Manager – Progression to Project/Contracts Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead commercial fit‑out and joinery projects across the UK, primarily in London. This permanent, full‑time position offers a clear pathway to Contracts or Project Management, allowing you to develop your career while delivering high‑quality fit‑out work in live environments.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee projects from initial concept through to successful completion.
• Manage multiple commercial, retail and hospitality fit‑out projects simultaneously.
• Liaise with clients, update project schedules and ensure accurate cost control.
• Organise subcontractor labour, monitor health and safety, and maintain site safety standards.
• Regularly visit and supervise sites, predominantly across London.

Required profile

• Proven site management experience on commercial fit‑out, shopfitting or similar projects.
• Strong background in joinery or carpentry.
• Experience working in live environments is desirable.
• Ambitious and motivated to progress into Contracts or Project Management.
• Full UK driving licence and residence within commuting distance of Poole.
