Site Manager – School Refurbishment (8‑week contract)

Job description

About the role

This is an eight‑week contract position managing a live school refurbishment project in Bromley. You will oversee multi‑storey building works, including decorating, flooring and general builder tasks, ensuring the site operates safely and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

Manage the day‑to‑day running of the site.
Supervise subcontractors and site operatives.
Enforce all health and safety procedures.
Open and close the site each day.
Coordinate works and maintain the programme.
Liaise with the project team and client.

Required profile

SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
Valid CSCS card.
Enhanced DBS (essential).
Previous refurbishment experience, preferably in education or occupied buildings.
Strong leadership and communication abilities.
