Site Manager – Senior Site Manager (Construction)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a new‑build restaurant project in Preston. Reporting to senior management, you will be the primary on‑site authority, responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction from start to handover.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day site operations and ensure the project stays on programme and within budget.
• Lead subcontractors and site teams, coordinating all site activities and logistics.
• Maintain high standards of quality and safety throughout the build.
• Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress reports to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and manage client and stakeholder relationships on site.

Required profile

• Proven experience as the No.1 Site Manager on new‑build construction projects.
• Background in commercial, retail, leisure or hospitality developments is advantageous.
• Valid SMSTS and First Aid at Work certificates.
• Strong health and safety knowledge and excellent communication and leadership abilities.
• Full UK driving licence.
