Site Operations Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Site Operations Manager to lead our regional home‑delivery operation in Accrington. You will be responsible for the safe, efficient and profitable running of the site, overseeing a team of around 50 colleagues across warehouse, planning and transport.

Key responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for site safety, efficiency and profitability.
• Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing team, fostering a supportive and accountable culture.
• Identify improvement opportunities, remove operational barriers and drive continuous improvement.
• Use data and performance metrics to diagnose root causes and make informed decisions.
• Ensure reliable, safe and customer‑focused delivery services.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align operational goals with business strategy.

• Proven experience leading operations or logistics teams in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong focus on people development and building engaged teams.
