Site Security Guard (Sunderland)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Site Security Guard to join our team in Sunderland. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment across the site while delivering a range of support services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient internal goods, post, concierge and car‑parking services.
• Monitor and maintain CCTV systems, ensuring recorded footage complies with legislation.
• Assist with fire evacuation procedures and minor maintenance or repair tasks.
• Support contractors and external agencies, reporting issues to the Maintenance and Facilities Manager.
• Undertake general housekeeping duties and represent the company professionally at all times.
• Participate in flexible shift patterns, including early, late, weekend and emergency call‑out rotas.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a role with security elements.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV and security systems.
• Strong communication skills with all internal and external parties.
• Ability to think quickly and defuse confrontational situations.
• Team‑player with adaptability and flexibility.
• Valid SIA badge (Frontline Door Supervisor / CCTV Operator) or willingness to obtain one.

What we offer
