Site Supervisor – Construction & Refurbishment

About the role

Axis CLC is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to manage a range of construction and refurbishment projects across the Southampton area. You will lead site operations for void property works, kitchen and bathroom installations, and major repairs, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day site activities across multiple projects.
• Coordinate trades and subcontractors to achieve efficient delivery.
• Oversee void property, kitchen & bathroom (K&B) programmes and major repair works.
• Conduct site inspections, quality checks and snagging.
• Ensure compliance with health & safety and CDM regulations, including RAMS.
• Monitor progress against programme, report performance and manage budgets.
• Maintain clear communication with residents, operatives and clients.
• Use PDA systems for reporting, documentation and information capture.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site supervision within construction, maintenance or refurbishment.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• Experience with voids, K&B programmes or major repairs.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, materials and health & safety standards.
• Ability to manage resources, materials and budgets effectively.

Required skills

• PDA systems for on‑site reporting and documentation.
