Site Supervisor – Specialist SEN School (Newham)

About the role
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Site Supervisor to join a specialist SEN school in Newham. You will be responsible for keeping the school environment safe, secure and well‑maintained for pupils, staff and visitors.
Key responsibilities
- Open and close the school site each day.
- Carry out general maintenance, repairs and routine site checks.
- Perform health and safety inspections and ensure compliance.
- Support security arrangements, manage contractors and oversee deliveries.
- Maintain a clean, safe and presentable school environment.
- Occasionally work evenings or weekends when required.
Required profile
- Experience in a school, site, facilities or maintenance role.
- Strong practical maintenance abilities.
- Proactive, reliable and hands‑on approach.
- Good communication skills.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Willingness to support a busy SEN school environment.
