Skilled Aircraft Fitter (Night Shifts)

About the role

Join Airbus at the Broughton wing‑build site as a Skilled Aircraft Fitter. You will work on the assembly, fitting and installation of components for some of the most complex aircraft wings in the world, operating on a flexible shift pattern that includes double‑day and night shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and fit structural components and systems within the wing‑build production line.
• Perform repairs on metallic and composite materials, ensuring compliance with Airbus quality standards.
• Work safely in confined spaces and at height when required.
• Follow the assigned shift schedule (double‑day or night) and collaborate with the production team.

Required profile

• Completed a full Aerospace or Engineering apprenticeship.
• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Specialist training in one or more of the following: Mechanical fitting, sheet‑metal work, shipwright, automotive technology, maintenance fitting/electrical, aero‑jig fitting, toolmaking, machining, composite repair, heating/ventilation (Gas Safe registered).
