About the role

Join the Samworth Brothers family as a Skilled Preparation Operator, supporting the Cornwall Bakery’s high‑volume production lines. You will prepare ingredients, operate specialised equipment and ensure smooth stock flow to keep the lines running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare produce for assembly lines using slicing, dicing and mixing machines.
• Operate labelling machines to organise stock rotation.
• Handle labour‑intensive tasks, including lifting items up to 25 kg and pushing wheeled loads up to 250 kg.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift 25 kg and push loads of 250 kg.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on production setting.
• Commitment to teamwork and continuous improvement.
