Skilled Tradespeople – Construction Projects

About the role

AJS Construct LTD is seeking experienced tradespeople to join its expanding refurbishment and fit‑out team on a long‑term, full‑time basis. The role involves working on commercial projects across North London, the Home Counties and the A1 corridor, delivering high‑quality internal and external refurbishments.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out internal and external commercial refurbishment tasks to a professional standard.
• Install and finish partitions using metal stud, track and traditional timber systems.
• Perform 2nd‑fix (and some 1st‑fix) carpentry, ensuring precision and finish.
• Fit suspended grid, MF, Burgess and other ceiling systems.
• Execute groundworks, drainage, concrete, brickwork and structural alterations where required.
• Apply high‑quality commercial decorating finishes.
• Undertake floor laying and other multi‑skilled refurbishment duties.

Required profile

• Polite, reliable, clean and presentable with strong communication skills.
• Proven experience in one or more of the listed trades.
• Ability to work safely on site and follow professional standards.
