Small Works Install Manager – Fire and Electrical

About the role

We are looking for a Small Works Install Manager to lead fire alarm and electrical installations across North London. Based in our Finsbury Park office, you will combine office coordination with regular site visits to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to client expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all small‑works fire alarm and electrical projects from survey to hand‑over.
• Provide technical support to installers, including drawings, documentation and installation planning.
• Conduct site surveys and produce clear scopes of work.
• Coordinate materials, labour and scheduling to keep projects on track.
• Ensure compliance with BS5839, BS7671 and internal standards.
• Liaise with clients, engineers and suppliers to maintain clear communication.
• Review completed works, variations and sign‑off documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and update internal systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience with fire alarm systems, electrical installation, or both.
• Strong organisational and project coordination abilities.
• Ability to read technical drawings and plan installation work logically.
• Confident communicator who can support installers and manage client expectations.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
• Full UK driving licence for site surveys.
