SMART (Clever) Repair Technician - Poole Audi

About the role

Poole Audi is looking for a SMART (Clever) Repair Technician to join its team. You will carry out high-quality cosmetic vehicle repairs, restoring damaged vehicles to Audi's exacting standards using the latest repair techniques, in a busy bodyshop environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out SMART and Clever repairs, including paint, alloy wheel and cosmetic body repairs.
• Repair minor dents, scratches, scuffs and bumper damage to manufacturer standards.
• Mix and apply paint to achieve precise colour matching and high-quality finishes.
• Prepare vehicles and panels for repair using approved repair methods and equipment.
• Complete repairs efficiently with attention to detail, in line with health, safety and manufacturer standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace and care for tools and equipment.
• Support the wider bodyshop team to meet productivity and customer satisfaction targets.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a SMART, Clever or Cosmetic Repair Technician.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and maintain high-quality standards.
• Positive attitude, strong team spirit and pride in first-class workmanship.

Required skills

• Strong paint and cosmetic repair skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

• Salary of £28,089 per year plus bonus OTE of £32,000.
