SOC Manager (SC) – Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SOC Manager (SC) to lead a Security Operations Centre for a UK Government client. This is a remote, 6‑plus month contract offering a strong work‑life balance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the SOC, deploying resources effectively.
• Oversee incident management processes and deliver robust security monitoring.
• Provide threat intelligence, assessment and reporting.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, managed security service providers and technology partners.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a SOC Manager.
• In‑depth knowledge of incident management and security monitoring.
• Ability to deliver effective threat intelligence and assessment.
• Experience managing vendor and partner relationships.
• Active SC clearance (preferred for quick start).
