Social Impact Lead

About the role

The Social Impact Lead will shape and deliver community‑focused initiatives that align with Cavendish Nuclear’s regional priorities. Working from our Moor Row site, you will strengthen partnerships, enhance our reputation and help create measurable social value.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement project‑specific Social Impact Plans and related campaigns.
• Build and maintain relationships with charities, voluntary organisations, community groups and other key stakeholders.
• Provide expert advice on stakeholder engagement and social impact initiatives across the business.
• Monitor, measure and report on social‑value activities and key performance indicators.
• Deliver communications through newsletters, social media, events and other channels in collaboration with the communications team.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social impact, communications, public relations or marketing.
• Track record of developing productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Knowledge of social impact metrics and measuring social‑value outcomes.
• Experience using a variety of multimedia and communications tools.
• Understanding of community needs in West Cumbria and ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
