Social Media & Content Assistant

About the role

We are looking for a Social Media & Content Assistant to join Lola’s marketing team in Park Royal, London. This entry‑level position will give you hands‑on experience creating and publishing short‑form video and visual content for TikTok, Instagram Reels and other platforms, supporting campaigns that reach hundreds of thousands of viewers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with planning and executing content shoots across bakeries, stores, the office and external locations.
• Film and edit short‑form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels and similar channels using tools such as CapCut or Premiere Pro.
• Research trending formats, viral sounds and social conversations to inspire new ideas.
• Write engaging captions and social copy, schedule posts and support publishing across all channels.
• Help organise props, products and shot lists, and maintain the content calendar.
• Participate in community management by responding to comments and messages.
• Support influencer gifting, collaborations and experiment with new content formats.

Required profile

• Passionate about social media, digital culture and storytelling.
• Creative eye for trends, highly organised and able to juggle multiple projects.
• Confident communicator who enjoys collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
• Comfortable filming content and willing to appear on camera when needed.
• Curious, proactive, adaptable and eager to learn in a fast‑moving environment.

Required skills

• CapCut or similar video‑editing software.
• Adobe Premiere Pro (or comparable editing tool).
• Canva or Adobe Creative Suite for basic graphic design.
• Photography and videography basics.
