Social Media Executive

About the role
We are looking for a creative Social Media Executive to lead day‑to‑day activity across our Restaurant & Bar social channels and support the Social Media Manager with hotel content. Based in London, the role combines content creation, platform planning and paid‑social support to turn culinary and hospitality stories into engaging organic and paid social media.
Key responsibilities
- Create high‑quality, social‑first content for TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, from concept through filming, editing and publishing.
- Capture compelling stories across restaurants, bars and hotels, including food, drink, people and behind‑the‑scenes moments.
- Translate social strategy into on‑brand content ideas aligned with campaigns and commercial priorities.
- Repurpose and optimise content across platforms to maximise reach and performance.
- Support photo and video shoots, collaborating with regional teams, agencies and creators.
- Spot trends, engage with user‑generated content and pitch reactive ideas.
- Ensure all content meets brand, tone‑of‑voice and accessibility guidelines.
- Manage day‑to‑day social activity, scheduling, publishing and optimisation for Restaurant & Bar channels.
- Build and maintain content calendars aligned with campaigns and key moments.
- Coordinate agency workflows and align organic and paid activities with Digital Marketing.
- Support paid social initiatives, create Meta ad creatives and monitor performance.
- Track platform and post performance, competitor activity and category trends; contribute to monthly reporting.
- Assist influencer and creator programmes, handling briefs, shoot coordination and usage‑rights tracking.
Required profile
- Experience in social media or digital marketing.
- Strong working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
- Ability to craft compelling, brand‑aligned content with good copywriting skills.
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments with multiple stakeholders and agencies.
- Willingness to experiment with new formats and technologies such as AI tools.
