Social Media Manager – British Vogue

About the role

Vogue is seeking a strategic and creative Social Media Manager to join the British Vogue editorial team in London. The role works closely with editors and writers to translate stories into engaging social content, driving audience growth, engagement and traffic to the site.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day publishing, optimisation and performance across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and Pinterest.
• Collaborate with editorial teams to maximise engagement and traffic for each story.
• Support the Senior Manager in shaping social strategy for key moments such as cover reveals, awards season and major editorial franchises.
• Test, learn and scale new ideas in partnership with Audience Development.
• Identify emerging trends, platform updates and audience behaviours to keep British Vogue at the forefront of digital storytelling.
• Assist in managing social partnerships and revenue‑driving branded content.
• Design and create visually compelling graphics, templates and branded assets that align with Vogue’s visual identity.
• Work with video teams to produce social‑first video content and explore commerce‑focused formats.

Required profile

• Sharp editorial instinct and exceptional visual eye.
• Deep understanding of social storytelling and the Vogue voice.
• Strong communication skills, sound judgement and a collaborative mindset.
• Proven track record of growing audiences and using data to inform strategy.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced publishing environment, including occasional outside‑office hours and on‑location work.
