Social Value Officer

About the role
The Social Value Officer will join Creative Support’s busy Social Value Team, supporting the design and delivery of initiatives that benefit local communities and enhance the organisation’s services. Working closely with the Senior Service Development Officer, you will help build partnerships with schools, colleges and community groups while promoting access to mainstream services for people we support.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and delivering social value projects such as food‑bank donations, litter‑picks and community events.
- Support the mobilisation of new services and deliver workshops for stakeholders.
- Collaborate with local schools and colleges to create recruitment pathways for long‑term unemployed individuals.
- Promote Creative Support’s regional profile through newsletters, celebrations and public events.
- Maintain accurate records and administrative support for all social value activities.
Required profile
- Organised, highly motivated and able to manage multiple workloads efficiently.
- Excellent communication and administration abilities.
- Strong relationship‑building skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Commitment to inclusive, anti‑racist values and community impact.
Required skills
- Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
