Social Worker – Children & Families

About the role

Join the Children & Families team in the Staffordshire Moorlands to support children and families across a wide range of needs. You will work within an Assessment & Staying Together team, collaborating with partners in Early Help, SEND, education and care services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide social work support from Child in Need through to Child Protection, Children in Care and Care Leavers.
• Work closely with district colleagues in Early Help, SEND, education and disability services to deliver a whole‑district approach.
• Apply a restorative model to ensure each child receives coordinated support.
• Utilise dedicated PA support to focus on direct work with families.
• Participate in continuous improvement by sharing best practice across teams.
