Social Worker – Connected Carers Team (2 Vacancies)

About the role
We are seeking two enthusiastic Social Workers to join our Connected Carers Team in Durham and surrounding areas. You will work on a contract basis, providing vital support to carers who look after children in fostering, kinship or other connected placements.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver high‑quality assessments, supervision and ongoing support to connected carers.
- Design and deliver tailored training sessions to build carers’ confidence, knowledge and practical skills.
- Empower carers to meet the diverse and evolving needs of the children in their care.
Required profile
- Qualified Social Worker with an active Social Work England registration.
- Experience in fostering, kinship care or connected persons assessments (preferred).
- Commitment to empowering others and a collaborative team attitude.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for occasional travel.
