Social Worker – Family Assessment and Support Team

About the role
Join the Family Assessment and Support Team (FAST) as a Social Worker delivering assessment and support services across North Yorkshire. You will start with four weeks of office‑based work before the pattern is reviewed.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of approximately 20‑24 families, conducting assessments and providing support.
- Work collaboratively with the FAST team in locations such as Richmond, Northallerton and Scarborough.
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to professional standards.
Required profile
- Qualified social worker with experience in assessment.
- Registered with Social Work England.
- Valid driving licence and access to a personal vehicle.
Required skills
- Professional social work assessment skills.
What we offer
- Hourly rate of £37.79 on an umbrella contract (37 hours per week).
- Minimum three‑month assignment with the possibility of extension.
