About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Sociology Teacher to join the Boys site of a thriving multi‑academy trust in Greenwich, London. The role starts in September 2026 and is a full‑time, permanent position within a highly successful all‑inclusive boys' school that also offers co‑educational post‑16 provision.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging Sociology lessons for secondary pupils.
- Contribute to the development and achievement of departmental targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the trust to share best practice.
- Participate in extra‑curricular activities related to Sociology.
- Support pupils’ personal development and improve their life chances.
Required profile
- A genuine passion for teaching Sociology.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to working as part of a motivated, dedicated team.
- Enthusiasm for continuous professional development and staff wellbeing.
Required skills
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
