Software Developer – Backend & Frontend (React/Node.js)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Developer to join a fast‑growing financial bridging‑loan and property‑lending business. The role focuses on building a bespoke, highly automated lending platform that will improve efficiency and support rapid scaling.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop both frontend and backend components for the in‑house lending application.
• Collaborate with co‑founders and cross‑functional teams to define requirements and drive technical projects.
• Implement modern web interfaces using React and Next.js, and robust server‑side logic with Node.js.
• Integrate frontend and backend via RESTful APIs and ensure smooth CI/CD pipelines.
• Apply test‑driven development (TDD) and best‑practice testing to maintain high code quality.

Required profile

• Strong experience building web applications with React and Next.js.
• Proficiency in Node.js and related development tools.
• Solid skills in UI design using TypeScript, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Understanding of RESTful API integration and CI/CD processes.
• Experience with TDD and automated testing.
