Software Developer – Dynamics 365 & Power Pages

About the role

Join the IT Business Applications team to design, develop, and maintain end‑to‑end solutions within the Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem. This hybrid London‑based contractor position offers a day rate of £400 and an initial three‑month engagement, working inside IR35 through an umbrella company.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement solutions using Dynamics 365 CE/CRM and Power Platform components.
• Build and customise Power Pages (formerly Power Apps Portals) for external‑facing web applications.
• Develop full‑stack solutions, including frontend (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and backend (.NET, C#, Web APIs).
• Configure Dynamics 365 modules such as Sales, Customer Service and Marketing.
• Create and manage Dataverse tables, relationships, business rules, workflows and plugins.
• Develop custom plugins, workflow activities and integrations using C# and .NET.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and integrate with external systems.
• Implement role‑based security within Dynamics 365 and Power Pages.
• Develop Power Platform solutions – Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Power BI integration.
• Utilise Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Service Bus) for scalable integrations.
• Perform data migrations using KingswaySoft, SSIS or Dataflows.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments via Azure DevOps.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise performance of D365 and Power Platform solutions.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Dynamics 365 CE/CRM development.
• Hands‑on experience with Power Pages (Portals) customisation.
• Proficiency in .NET/C# and modern web technologies.
• Experience with Azure services and data integration tools.
