About the role
Oscar Technology is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead a talented team of five developers in Cambridge. You will guide the team through the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high‑quality code and best‑practice delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, mentor and conduct 1‑to‑1s with a mixed‑experience development team.
- Oversee the full SDLC, from product upgrades to new solution creation.
- Perform code reviews, enforce development standards, and drive technical direction.
- Collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust software.
- Scale the team positively while influencing the company’s technical roadmap.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a C# .NET software developer.
- Demonstrated success in leading and managing development teams.
- Experience delivering projects, conducting code reviews, and mentoring staff.
- Ability to liaise effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
