Software Development Manager (C# .NET/Azure) – Cambridge

About the role

Oscar Technology is seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to lead a talented team of five developers in Cambridge. You will guide the team through the full software development lifecycle, ensuring high‑quality code and best‑practice delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and conduct 1‑to‑1s with a mixed‑experience development team.
• Oversee the full SDLC, from product upgrades to new solution creation.
• Perform code reviews, enforce development standards, and drive technical direction.
• Collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders to translate requirements into robust software.
• Scale the team positively while influencing the company’s technical roadmap.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a C# .NET software developer.
• Demonstrated success in leading and managing development teams.
• Experience delivering projects, conducting code reviews, and mentoring staff.
• Ability to liaise effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
