Software Engineer – AI Agent Development

About the role

Sierra is building production‑grade AI agents for leading enterprises across finance, healthcare and commerce. As a Software Engineer you will design, ship and continuously improve these mission‑critical systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver production‑grade AI agents that are reliable, performant and drive revenue.
• Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot to deployment and iteration.
• Partner with large enterprises and cutting‑edge startups to understand business challenges and embed AI agents.
• Shape the future of Sierra’s platform by surfacing unmet needs, prototyping tools and collaborating with research and product teams.

Required profile

• Experience building and scaling end‑to‑end production systems.
• Strong technical problem‑solving skills in fast‑changing, ambiguous environments.
• Builder mindset with high agency to overcome obstacles and ship.
• Comfort working directly with customers to solve real‑world problems.
• Excellent communication skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• AI/LLM systems development and deployment.
• Eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines and prompt engineering.
• React, TypeScript and/or Go.
