Software Engineer – AI Agent (Dutch speaking)

About the role

As a Software Engineer focusing on AI agents, you will design, build, and ship production‑grade agents that drive revenue for large enterprises and innovative startups. You will own the full Agent Development Life Cycle, from pilot to continuous iteration, and work directly with customers to shape Sierra’s platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver high‑performance, reliable AI agents that operate at scale across finance, healthcare, and commerce.
• Drive the Agent Development Life Cycle (ADLC) with end‑to‑end ownership, defining best practices for production environments.
• Partner with large enterprises and cutting‑edge startups in London to understand business challenges and embed AI agents throughout their stacks.
• Contribute to the evolution of Sierra’s core platform by surfacing unmet needs, prototyping new tools, and collaborating with research and product teams.

Required profile

• Experience building and scaling end‑to‑end production systems.
• Strong technical problem‑solving skills in fast‑changing, ambiguous environments.
• A builder mindset with high agency, able to overcome obstacles and ship solutions.
• Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real‑world problems.
• Excellent communication skills, clear and persuasive for both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production.
• Familiarity with eval frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering.
• Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go.
