Software Engineer (AWS, Python, C#/C++, CFD/FEA)

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Develop core modules for an engineering design platform using C#, C++ or Python.
• Integrate simulation tools into an AWS‑based distributed computing environment.
• Wrap commercial simulation packages and automate complex engineering workflows.
• Collaborate with an Agile team to deliver high‑quality, production‑grade code.
• Contribute to cloud architecture, Kubernetes clusters, and database integration.

Required profile

• 2:1 or higher Computing/STEM degree (BSc, MSc or PhD) from a Russell Group university.
• 2‑8 years of commercial software engineering experience.
• Passion for mechanical engineering, CFD/FEA, and physical modelling.
• Ability to work on‑site in Oxford at least three days per week.
