Software Engineer (C++) – eDV Cleared

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong C++ expertise to join a high‑performance, mission‑critical team. The role involves developing secure, scalable applications for Linux environments while holding Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain high‑performance C++ applications on Linux.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code focused on performance and reliability.
• Debug, profile, and perform static analysis using tools such as Valgrind.
• Containerise applications with Docker and support CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent commercial experience.
• At least 18 months of commercial C++ development experience.
• Strong experience in Linux‑based development environments.
• Ability to work both independently and within an Agile team.
