About the role
AJ Bell is seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join a forward‑thinking, collaborative team. You will work in a cross‑functional Agile environment, contributing to the development of services and APIs that power our investment platform.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain C#‑based services and APIs.
- Collaborate with product owners and designers to deliver features from the enterprise backlog.
- Implement secure development practices and ensure code quality.
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
- Contribute to front‑end work with React or Angular where needed.
Required profile
- Strong experience building services and APIs with C#.
- Good knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with secure coding standards and Git version control.
- Experience with CI automation tools such as Jenkins.
- Ability to work effectively in an Agile and DevOps environment.
